Feedback Comments:   Dear Subhash and all IAGG volunteers,

Congratulations on completion of an extremely successful Cricket tournament yesterday. It was encouraging to see such a big event, with record number of people participating and watching – “go so well”.

Most importantly you and your team have boosted the tournament’s organization quite a notch upwards. You all have added variety, spice, food, games, tents, demo’s, pictures, awards and many other specialties to the spirit of the game. It was exciting to see the volunteers fill every requirement that there was on that day. You all did very well in getting sponsor ships too. That is the way to go.

There were so many good things happening that one can go on and on. Unfortunately, due to my travel commitments for Monday I could not stay back to watch or help. I am sure I missed out on some good games and celebrations. I intend to catch up next year.

I know that the IAGG committee is open for suggestions, and if I may request any change (if at all), it would be to re-visit some of the rules of the game itself. Let the tournament not flaunt basic cricketing rules of this great game, out of convenience or lack of knowledge by some. One suggestion would be to balance out the rules between the bowlers and the batsmen thereby generating good competition and fighting spirit. Other wise everything was exceptionally thought out and executed.

I really wanted to complement you and your team on the success and thank you for all the hard work and initiative you all took.

Compliments and Best of Luck for future events,

Thank you and Regards,

Pawan K. Sharma

Feedback Comments:   Website looks good except for the clutter of ads on the left & right pane - which would have been better if this had been in a separate page of its own (and not reflected on the main page).
My best wishes for new team - they seem to be really working hard and lining up events one after the other. Way to go !!
Our Comments :
We appreciate your feedback. The reason for showing the ads on either of side of the page is to highlight the confidence expressed by the sponsors on IAGG and also encourage the companies to come forward to sponsor the events. At the same time, it will also give an opportunity for the viewers to IAGG website to see the sponsors of the events. We will try to balance the ads and the content so that the community is aware of the current events in Greenville. We agree it is a delicate act and strive hard to ensure that the essence of the message is not lost.

Feedback Comments:   Is there a specific membership application to be sent in?
Do members receive a membership card?

Geoffrey Heriot

At present there is no need to fill any special form. You can either contact any of the IAGG members(accessed by clicking the Membersip tab) or send the check to the address mentioned in the Membership tab along with your name and address. We maintain the list of members. We do not send any membership card. However, moving forward our team will look into the request of providing membership card to the members.

Feedback Comments:   First of all let me congratulate the team who has taken so much pain to create this website. Our site would look more impressive if we really can add/delete some colors which go well with our flag colors on the frame. We are into website designing business, we can help with that.

Secondly, about the feedback shown on this page, if we show limited feedback on this page and the rest of the feedback is shown with a link as "more" which will take them to the next or another page, we can accommodate more feedbacks without scrolling down the page. Else, another option, the latest feedback will be shown on the current page and the rest will be shown as a link “More Feedbacks” on another page.

Our Comments : Thanks for providing your candid feedback. Really appreciate extending your hand in conveying your willingness to help us. We work on this on website on a voluntary basis. You could email us at webcommittee@iagg.org with your contact information. We will work with you

Missing items - IAGG Logo and current membership list.

The purple in the title should be replaced with a darker blue and the right frame could match that.

Feedback Comments:   I really am trying to question the person who is maintaining the Membership List is totally disconnected with the Treasurer as one of the members of the Rama Family who is in charge of making sure all membership dues are paid to all organizations locally and nationally for the Rama Family would like to state that each year we as Rama Family make payment with One Check in full amount for all 6 Rama Families and I see that 2 of our family members names are missing in the list. The names missing are
Hasmukh & Gita Rama
Dharmendra & Sapna Rama

I had also requested to Change name of Denu P Rama to Kamal Rama which is not done

Can you please look into this matter and respond back to me personally and let me know why there is information missing

This year again I have paid the amount for all 6 families in May for the year 2008-2009 I hope you have that on your records if not let me know and I will be able to give you the backup copy of the check.

Thanks

Feedback Comments:   Congratulations to the IAGG team on completion of Anand Bazar 2008. The success of these events is obvious from the swell in the number of audiences and participants, each year and with each program. Without hard work it is impossible to attract an enthusiastic set of each kind.

Kudo’s to all the participants. They were all simply impressive, talented and energetic. I would like to thank their parents who worked equally hard. It is a massive commitment. The Dance schools also got in a good stead.

It is time that IAGG now thinks about lifting the quality of these programs. It is very obviously letting down the audiences, the participants and the parents.

Program after program the Sound system SUCKS. Pathetic is the word. The microphones fail, the CD’s fail, the controllers don’t work. The Speakers are placed at incorrect places. The sound screeches, blurs, blasts...It goes on and on. Organizers are just running around not able to fix, since they do not know what is causing it. Obviously, people with limited knowledge of acoustics are generally behind the controls. It is time to call in help.

Same is the situation with the Stage Lighting. Who does ever put strobes and disco lights behind the participants at that height? It only disturbs the audience view. The amount and kind of light quality is not a guess, it is a science. Light should be used to enhance performance and this is not achieved. There is extra light on the back wall and putting a few strobes will surely play no role.

Let us also avoid wasting time between performances. However genuine the reason for the delay, each delay times the numbers of audiences - is time lost. This takes away from the peak of fun making.

In my opinion, it is abuse of all the good that these participants bring. Imagine the youngest participant trying to reach his/her voice to that massive an audience and with no success at all.

I know, IAGG is not expected to be experts in Show Business, but it surely can get professional Help - if QUALITY matters at all.

In good faith, .......Pawan

Feedback Comments:   We attended the Diwali nite this saturday & I could not resist myself from giving the feedback. The Programme was really wonderful,we have been one of the regulars to this event & this time the food & the orchestra was awesome. The decor was really nice.I want to Congratulate each & every one in the committee for the wonderful work. The only thing that could have been improved was the space at the dance floor, it became too crowded for a while, but with the nice selections of songs & the over all very decent programme, that one thing could be overlooked. We really enjoyed the nice orchestra after a long time.Over all will like to Thank Mr. Pankaj dave ,Mr V.k. Shah & all the committee members for all their hardwork & putting up a memorable evening for all of us.

Feedback Comments:   The Diwali night function at the temple had a comedy show, most of whose contents were focused on Adult theme. With seniors and young teens present during the DIWALI function, this seems to be very in appropriate. We would like IAGG to be more vigilant to what they provide for entertainment during family gathering.

Feedback Comments:   We recently moved to Greenville from Pennsyvannia. In PA we were enjoying being part of very active Indian community (Indian American Association of North Eastern PA). We were worried that we may miss all the fun. But we were very pleased to find IAGG. We registered ourself and had the opportunity to attend the Carnival Picnic. We enjoyed the picnic, got to know more people. I would like to volunteer myself for any help. Thank you and appreciated all those who have made this picnic a great success.

Feedback Comments:   Thanks so much for a marvelous afternoon Saturday. We enjoyed every
minute of the entertainment, the exhibits, and the food.
Besides the jewelry vendors, however, there was not a large selection of momentos of India to bring home. You may wish to consider next year a sort of bazaar featuring family suitable Hindi films, CDs, and elementary books on the Hindi language (speaking and writing). Everyone did a great job.

Feedback Comments:   Anand Bazaar was well conducted and quality of programs presented excellent. The hardwork of organizers, children, choreographers and parents was self evident. It was refreshing to see some new items this year. Notably the Hindi poets, the Dance of puppets and the several traditional non-Bollywood type dances. Being innovative is truly a challenge and the community is showing that they are up to it and more.

The coming together of Vedic Center and IAGG is a very welcome development. Together great goals can be achieved.

Thank you for everything that you all do. This is what makes Greenville community different.

Have a suggestion about your website.

Found the list of "Past Presidents" in the "Archives" section. This is not correct. Please move this to "About Us" section. Just like the "Committee", and "Members2006-2007", these dedicated individuals are a special part of IAGG identity and deserve to be listed there. Thank you and keep it up.
