Election Picnic - 2008

Come with family and friends to enjoy a relaxed afternoon with activities and games, bid farewell to the current year team and help elect the team of 2008-2009.

This event is FREE and open to ALL regardless of membership status.

While limited seating at picnic tables will be available, please feel free to bring your own lawn chairs for additional comfort. A light lunch with water and soft drinks will be served.

Membership Renewals:

This event marks the beginning of a new activity year. Membership enrollments and renewals may be completed at the event by paying annual dues shown below. Please tell a friend about membership benefits and encourage them to enroll. Annual dues (July through June) are as follows:

Family membership : $40/-
Individual membership : $20/-

Elections:

The IAGG president will nominate two current members who have been past presidents to conduct the election. Nominations from the current year members are invited for the following posts. Each nomination must be proposed and seconded by current year IAGG members. Nominations from the floor will be accepted prior to the start of the election at this event. If you are interested in serving for any of the following position, please contact any current committee members.

President
Vice President
Secretary (Communications)
Treasurer
Entertainment committee members (minimum five)
Sports committee members (two)
Membership committee members (two)
"Adopt-A-Highway" Coordinator
"Day With India" Coordinator (New position)

Additionally, volunteers are needed for the web-team that maintains our community web-site.

If you would like to help with IAGG events but are unable to commit the time required to serve as an ofice bearer, we encourage you register as a member of our team of Core Volunteers, and participate as much as you can. Your help will be much appreciated.
